There is a silence that has kept me from my dreams.
My dreams, held deep within my heart,
wondering whether I can reach them,
because there are thoughts which have
been hidden in the dark, it seems,
the truth that I have held all my life
for the world to hear.
Observe and listen
to the words I say,
the words that I keep
truly in my heart and soul,
which flourish as I speak,
and maybe eventually,
I’ll finally believe
that those dreams can be reached
