Have you ever broken the bank trying to prove to your significant other that you love them? I sure hope not.
A sixteen-year-old Brentwood boy has started a GoFundMe after going into credit card debt after Valentine’s Day. Unfortunately, the enormous amount of money he dropped on gifts would prove not to be enough for his girlfriend, as she would break up with him that same day.
“She wanted a golden ring with a diamond, with our initials carved into the diamond,” said Tumatch Moni. “But I forgot to get our initials carved, so when I showed the photo to her, she broke up with me on the spot. I went broke for nothing.”

Tumatch would launch a GoFundMe shortly after Valentine’s Day, asking for three thousand dollars. The GoFundMe is set to close on the 13th of June, which is the student’s birthday. But so far, the GoFundMe has received only 5 dollars. The few that donated gave very little so that they may be able to leave negative comments.
Shortly after the incident, Tumatch’s parents were made aware of what happened and threw him out of the house immediately. With nowhere he could go, he went to his ex’s house to beg for refuge.
“He hasn’t been keeping up with rent, and what he did was the final straw, so we threw him out so he can learn the consequences of being a fool,” said Mr. Moni.
Aineed Moar, Tumatch’s ex, has had very little to say about the current situation as she has been too busy flexing all that she has received from Tumatch.
“Well, he should’ve listened to me. I have never been that specific about anything else in my life before,” said Moar.
Tumatch has since then been living on the streets, hopeful that his money goal is reached as he has nothing but his regrets.
Tumatch may have lost all the money he had, but he learned a new lesson that love can’t be bought.
“I’m never doing that for someone ever again. When I earn my money back, I’m only going to love myself financially,” Tumatch said.
