The Next Galaxy

My dreams cross into reality.

I’m one of the stars, I am free.

I was transported to the next galaxy.

But there’s one problem.

I can’t be where I want to be.

I am trapped in the atmosphere.

How do I get to the next galaxy?

Perseverance? Wealth? Connections, maybe?

Another separate problem waits before me.

How do I remove these weights

That have been bestowed upon me?

They’re as light as air, but they feel heavy.

Is it time I stop thinking about the next galaxy?

My weights say I should go to the clouds.

There’s not as much risk,

But what about its bliss?

I adore the clouds, but not like space.

I’ll work towards the clouds but

I’ll keep working behind the scenes.

I’ll keep working to find my place.
