Jackelyn Rivas is a sophomore who wants to go to college, obtain a degree in English literature, and become a psychologist. One of her biggest inspirations is Lady Gaga. The fun, quirky singer inspires her due to the fact Gaga has faced harsh issues like depression. It makes Jackelyn want to not give up and continue without stopping. Jackelyn can be smart when she WANTS to be. Subjects that she does well in are math, English, and Spanish! She’s also received three honor roll certificates. By the way, she is the typical pressured and rebellious middle child. Other than stealing cookies, she enjoys reading and writing. She also listens to heavy metal...okay and SOMETIMES romantic songs (she’s such a hopeless romantic, yikes). Don’t tell her she can’t do something, or she will come up with a witty retort to say in the four languages she knows!
