Crown

She wears her crown tall and proud

and grips it firmly.

It comes with a price.

Like the sky holds on to the moon and stars,

she hustles to keep this crown

as rain keeps flowers alive.

This crown’s weight

comes with the territory.

She thrives on its power and

possesses it eternally

like the sun arises each day.

Rainy days and stormy days

where pearls are struck by lightning and thunder

as the branches of a tree holds the tree firm.

As she grips onto the crown, she holds on firm and tight

like a lion within her who roars, and the crown glows.

As ocean holds the water,

as a virtuous woman of a lion

who hunts at night,

she secures the life she wears.

As overcomer who rises when falls,

and one who conquers and reigns.

Beauty of pearls

befalls her.

An angel from heaven

fixes her crown.

She is a flawless, pure pearl,

or a white dove flying up high in the sky.
