1. Casablanca – 1942 

 

Casablanca was just an ordinary A list Hollywood movie, it had very low expectations. It is now one of the best-known Hollywood classics. 

The movie sends the message of love and sacrifice. As Rick ignites an old flame with Ilsa. An ex-love who is now married and back in town. Her husband Victor is a “known” rebel. Ilsa comes back with the hope that Rick can help her husband.

This Bollywood tragedy won over many hearts. The stars Shah Rukh Khan and Ashwariya Rai reenacted the love story of Paro (Parvati) and Dev (Devdas). After Dev comes home after studying abroad in London. The movie narrates the love story of childhood best friends as Dev’s family does not approve of the marriage. Heartbroken Dev and Paro are searching for a way back to one another. 

3. The Godfather – 1972                                                                                 

This mob drama changed mafia movies forever. The Italian crime classic, taking the youngest son of the Corlene family, Michael Corlene and turning him into a mafia boss.      

4. Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory – 1971 

     

This chocolatey movie quickly melted the hearts of so many families. The rush to find the golden ticket, meeting Mr. Wonka after he spent so many years in the dark. The candy land, the factory, the chocolate river, the oompa-loompas. Every kid’s dream all in one movie. 

5. Breakfast at Tiffany’s – 1961 

 

Tiffany’s is one of Audrey Hepburn’s most famous movies. Based on a Truman Capote novel, the classic search for love trope. Tiffany meets Paul while he is in another relationship. The two fall in love and slowly fate comes true.
