All Jordan did was lie. He never felt love for Ella; he played her, he stabbed her heart, and he didn’t care about her as much as she cared about him.  One day, Jordan and Ella started arguing a lot. She wanted it to stop but she couldn’t because she loved him. Jordan lied to Ella by cheating on her with her best friend. She was blind and she couldn’t take the truth because she was in love.

Everything changed that one day when Ella saw Emma and Jordan kissing in the hallway. She was broken and hurt. People told her to move on, and to follow her heart but she couldn’t because her heart was broken into a million pieces. How was Ella going to be able to pick the pieces from her heart to fix it? Ella never found the way but one day a new guy came whose name was Dre. Ella fell in love with Dre and he reciprocated the love as well. Jordan realized he still loved Ella and wanted her back. After he found out about Ella and Dre’s relationship, his heart was broken.  Jordan was completely lost and thought of ways to get Ella back. Years went by and Jordan was tortured by Ella and Dre’s relationship. Unfortunately for Jordan, Ella and Dre’s love lasted their entire high school career.

When Dre ended his relationship with Ella, she was devastated at first. Dre’s reasons for ending their love was because he suspected that Ella still loved Jordan. Dre noticed the way that Ella still gazed at Jordan in the hallway, and how there were tears in her eyes when Jordan received his diploma on stage. He felt that she didn’t care as much for him as she did for Jordan. Ella vehemently denied this accusation because she still had much resentment that Jordan briefly dated Emma. Rumors went around that Jordan never really loved Emma but it still hurt Ella that Jordan would even think of kissing her (ex) best friend behind her back.

Ella didn’t believe in love anymore. She was rejected by the first love of her life, Jordan, and then someone who she grew to really like, Dre, ended up not being her true love at all. Maybe Dre was right. She went to her first day of college and was excited to see Jordan because they haven’t really seen each other in a while.

The first day of college came. Ella felt something weird. She started to feel the same love she felt for Jordan that she felt when they first met. Jordan felt the same thing. It was like they were meant to be together. Unfortunately, Emma attended the same college too. Ella saw her walking in the hall one day and started get chest pains. Their friendship never recuperated.

Ella made it thought her first day of college until someone came to her it was Javid, Emma’s brother and Ella best friend. “Ella is that you?”

“Woah, you have changed a lot. Your hair is no longer blonde,”Javid said.

Ella turned around, “Who are you? Do I know you? Where do you know me from?” She asked.

“I’m Javid,” he said. Suddenly Ella’s world came down. Many memories came to her mind.

Three years earlier…

“Javid. Where have you been?” Ella said.

“I’m here, baby. I love you Ella.”

“I love you too, Javid.” Ella replies.

“We should make it official.”

Ella starts to laugh. “Make what official? This means nothing to me.” Ella said.

“How can you?” said Javid.

Ella said, “Emma came up to me saying we need to talk right now…” Ella felt numb about what she asked.

“About you and my brother.” Emma said with a mad look.

“There is nothing for us to talk about.” Ella said and walked away.

The bell rang, and Emma grabbed Ella’s arm in the hallway in front of everyone. Ella pushed Emma away. Emma started to laugh. “Are you being serious right now?”

Jordan came out of the classroom with his new friends. “Wow. Things are going to be more interesting,” Emma said sarcastically.

“I don’t know what’s your problem. I’m out,” Ella said.

Emma grabbed Ella’s hair as she pushed Emma away, throwing her to the floor. Emma hit her head against the locker. Jordan picked Emma up.

“Ella, what’s going on? “Jordan said.

“I don’t know” Ella said.

Emma gasps. “She’s fake. She ain’t the girl everyone thinks she is.”

Javid comes across the classroom sees everything. He pushed Jordan away.

“Let her go,” Javid says.

“I’m fine” Ella said.

“You sure?” he asked.

“Yes I’m sure. I gotta get to class,” she said.

“Running away like you always do” Emma yelled. “Go run away like you have done nothing bad.”

“Was it that Emma discovered Ella’s darkest secret?”

“Like you never did. What? You did?” Emma said.

“What are you talking about?” Jordan and Javid said at the same time.

“Tell them or I will,” Emma said.

“It was summer 2015. Hannah and I went to Paris for a week, and she died in a car accident,” Ella said.

Emma interrupted, “Stop lying and say what you did.”

Ella ignored Em.  “We were drunk and we went to a party. We were driving drunk. I was driving. I got out of the car and Hannah stayed in the car. This other car came and Hannah died. She was having a baby. I killed my best friend. I killed her baby. A month later I had to forget. That’s when I moved back to a town in Missouri. Jerry, as always was with me. My brother Jerry was the father of the baby, the father of Hannah’s baby. “Ella broke down in tears.

“You did what?” Jordan was in the corner listening to everything.

“Tell me your lying, Ella. Tell me,” he yelled.

“No, Jerry. it’s the truth, “Ella said sobbing.

“How could you do that to me?” Jordan said. “How can you live with this?”

“I can’t.” Ella said.

“Believe me, if it were me that died, everything would be different,” Ella said.

“I hate you,” Jordan said.

“With all my heart, you are not my sister. You’re a monster,” Jordan said.

“Jordan, no.” Ella said.

“Ella, I thought you were different but you aren’t. I regret knowing you… you deserve to go away,” Javid said.

Everyone left her alone, and she felt pain and sadness. She was a terrible person, a monster, like Jordan said.

What I am going to do now? Everything has changed now that they know the truth. She ran away and grabbed her car keys and drove without stopping. She didn’t pay attention to the train that was passing by. She crashed her car in front of a 7-11.

“Ella, wake up. It’s me, Hannah,” Hannah said.

“What? Hannah, I’m sorry for what I did,” Ella said, feeling pain.

“What are you talking about silly?” Hannah said.

“I killed you. I killed your baby,” Ella said.

“Listen up. It wasn’t your fault. We were drunk. I love you and I will see you soon,” Hannah said. Hannah vanished and Ella’s eyes became blurry. She turns her head and sees Jordan taking to a doctor.

Doctor Baker said, “I’m sorry to tell you this but I have bad news. Ella Smith is in a coma and she has less than three hours. She is not going to make it. She’s badly injured from the accident. I’m so sorry.”

Jordan runs over to Ella’s side. “Ella can you hear me? It’s Jordan. I’m sorry for what I said. I love you. Please don’t leave me.”

Ella squeezes Jordan’s hand, and then dies.
