The snow is falling

The lights are shining

Kids are laughing

The people are asking

“If you had one wish this year, what would it be?”

And

For the past two years I have said the same thing:

I wish for a certain person to be happy

to be healthy

to have anything and everything

to protect

That’s all I ask

I know it’s hard to accomplish

but

If one wish can make it happen

I will wish it

Upon the brightest star

The most fortunate well

Even the big man himself

For one wish to happen
