Isolation

March 13, 2020, the day the world would change.

Such an unrealistic time, it fills us all with rage.

Days, minutes, seconds go by, we’re trying hard to climb,

the continuous feeling of isolation will not let us reach our prime.

Meetings on my laptop, and scrolling through my phone,

video calls all day long; I’m always stuck at home.

We’re all slowly deteriorating, facing a never-ending cyclone,

No one will come save us, we’re all on our own.

My mind is drifting, I can’t focus,

I wish this would end with the words, “Hocus  Pocus”.

This feeling of isolation has affected our education,

This feeling of isolation is spreading across our nation.
