Rauw Alejandro has launched a new song “tu con el” with lyrics “You’re with him / I’ve heard that you’re looking even better than before.” This song appears on his latest album, “Cosa Nuestra,” which was released on Sept. 26, 2024.

“The overall flow and beat of his music is so appealing to the ear,” said Carolina Garcia, 12th grade student. In every one of his albums, he has a different character with different meanings. Alejandro also says that the character reflects the city’s vibes, the musical influence of the ’60s, and the swag of Puerto Rico. Wonder who’s his inspo for this new album?
Rauw Alejandro, a singer in the Latin music scene, uses a unique blend of reggaeton, R&B, and pop. He has catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics, making him popular around the world.
Alejandro started to release songs on SoundCloud, which helped him gain some success and followings. He developed a different flow from others by experimenting with different genres. His dedication to music caused him to be recognized as the top artist in Latin music today.
“Rauw’s Songs give me a boost and positive energy,” said Ethan Figueroa, 12th grade student. Alejandro has won several awards, including the Latin grammy for best urban fusion/performance.
His song “Todo de ti,” gained millions of streams worldwide.
“Dile a El” is a song that pulled me into listening to his songs and album,” Garcia said.
“He sings about heartbreak and I relate to what the lyrics say,” said Orlando Sosa, 12th grade student.
An artist like Rauw Alejandro is J Balvin. He’s a Colombian reggaeton singer who has also had a vibrant style and beats like Alejandro. Balvin is also known for his fashion choices and for collabing with big brands. Just like Rauw, he has many hit songs like “Mi Gente” and “Ginza.”
